  This is a very confusing station! Most stations with two platforms have one platform for one direction (for instance South) and the other platform for the other direction (for instance North). This particular station has one platform for the Metro going North and South and the opposite platform accommodates main line trains, also going North and South. Get on the wrong platform and you watch your transport go in and out of the station and are unable to get to it as the barriers close and don't allow you to cross the track. Very little in the way of signage to warn you of this rather peculiar arrangement, and if you miss the main line train it's an hour to wait. Clearer (or any) signs would have saved me a lot of trouble and waiting around.
